Graduate financial aid is not dependent on income, although the FAFSA requires input from your most recent tax returns.
We have found that 97% of our applicants have been eligible to borrow the full available loan amount, as long as they:
- Meet the eligibility requirements outlined by the FAFSA.
- Aren’t default, or owe a refund to a federal financial aid program
- Have not reached the $138,500 limit of combined undergraduate to graduate borrowing.
All new graduate MBA students will participate in an onboarding experience before or within the first term of entering the program. This experience is designed to help incoming students get familiar with their classmates, adjust to the social and performance aspects of graduate studies to be prepared, productive, and successful in school contributions.
As part of this onboarding experience, Midland prepares new students for the interpersonal dynamics that students will experience during their time in the MBA program. The onboarding includes the completion of the Emergenetics profile along with modules on teamwork, communication, emotional intelligence, and managing your program.
Onboarding is offered three times throughout the year, in August, January, and May. The onboarding experience is held at the Midland University Omaha location the weekend before classes start. Specific meeting times will be announced to all enrolled students in advance.
Have previous graduate level business credit? Those seeking to transfer in completed graduate level coursework may request a transfer credit evaluation to determine which courses may transfer into the Midland MBA. All graduate credit must have been earned in the last seven (7) years with a B (3.0) grade or higher for transfer consideration per the Midland University general transfer policy. Students are required to complete, at minimum, 60% of graduate credit through courses at Midland University.
